Boro Rangers remain top of the North Riding Football League Premier Division after defeating Bedale 4-0 on their travels. Stu Rose, Jamie Lee, Matty McQueeney and the division’s top scorer Jamie Bellamy were all on target for the defending champions.

Stockton West End are one of three clubs poised just two points behind. They have a game in hand and enjoyed a big 7-2 win over Fishburn Park. Second placed West End had two hat-trick heroes in Jack Campbell and the in-form Ben Turner. Jake Large ensured they hit seven. Fishburn’s Jimmy Organ-Simpson and Adam Warrilow also found the net.
Also unbeaten, Thornaby Dubliners won again, but it was a close run battle with new boys Kader. Tom Atkinson, who used to star for Kader’s forerunners Nunthorpe, netted twice for Dubliners. Lee Armes replied for the Middlesbrough visitors.
Yarm and Eaglescliffe have been the surprise package of the season so far. Matty Jenkinson and the prolific Sean Mackin blasted two goals each for the Eagles as they saw off Grangetown, 4-0.
Redcar Town lost their unbeaten record in spectacular style, at St Marys 1947. Matthew Sullivan’s 48th minute was a mere consolation for Town. Saints struck through Paul Vaughan’s brace and further goals from Andrew Herbert and Ryan Todd.
New Marske sent BEADS to the bottom of the Premier Division after thumping them 6-2. Dan Lofts and Robson Jinks notched for BEADS, but New Marske’s second half show won the day. Dan Joseph opened the scoring in a quiet first half for New Marske, but five more goals arrived after the interval. Kieran Stares netted early in the second, before Ben Marshall added New Marske’s third. Shaun Laverick fired a brace in close succession, including a penalty, and Liam Fox made it six, ten minutes from time.
Redcar Newmarket are off the bottom after a shock win over Stokesley Sports Club. Jamie Graham, Anthony Jefferson and four from the legendary Michael Dowse did the business for Newmarket, who secured a shock 6-2 victory of their own.
Finally, Staithes Athletic continue to consolidate after holding Guisborough Town Reserves. Player-manager Gary Sivills led by example with Athletic’s goal while Connor Smith scored for the Priorymen.
