Boro Rangers are within four points of leaders Stockton West End, with two games in hand, after a big midweek win on the road. They travelled to Whitby on Wednesday night and defeated Fishburn Park 5-0. Paul Blake bagged a brace, with Matty McQueeney, Jamie Lee and top goalscorer Stu Rose completing the scoring.

BEADS are now five points clear of the drop zone after a shock 4-1 win at Bedale, with all five goals in the first half. Karl Liley put the Middlesbrough side ahead inside nine minutes, but Jack Stapley quickly levelled. Robson Jinks put BEADS back in front on 15 and Liley’s second made it 3-1, on 24, with Jinks completing the scoring before half time.

Grangetown’s great form continued apace as they swept aside St Marys 1947. Boys Club are within three points of third place Yarm & Eaglescliffe with two games in hand after a 3-0 away victory. Lewis Patchett hit two, with Andrew Doddy despatching the other.

Redcar Town are now within a point of fifth placed Thornaby after defeating the Dubliners 3-1. Charlie Raby had put Dubs in front but Ryan Bennions’ penalty levelled the scores and further strikes from Luke Nicholson and Bennions’ second, saw Town home.
Attention turned to Under 19 encounters on Thursday night as Redcar Athletic won 3-0 at Nunthorpe- Jake Lance (2) and George Stevenson scored for Athletic.
There was success for another Redcar side on their travels too, Tom Keogh and Curtis Holmes were on target as Redcar Newmarket won 2-0 at Seaton Carew.
